Shopping tips
There are 1000s of sites devoted to online shopping so here's a
few tips and easy hits!
Price comparisons sites
For cheap online shopping use price comparisons sites - be aware
that in some cases they have partner 'tie-ups' which may mean the
are not offering the absolute cheapest. Also don't forget delivery
costs. For the last 4 years,
Kelkoo has
been the UK's favourite shopping comparison site (it's the third
largest e-commerce website after Amazon and Ebay) but more
importantly it has over 2 million products! Discount vouchers/codes
When shopping online, look out for discount codes or vouchers - a
quick online search reveal shopping code for gift ideas, all sorts
of electronic items, mobile phones, gadgets, fashion, computers
travel and more.
Cashback sites
It's sometimes worth using cashback sites (although you do have
to register) - they are basically advertising sites, but when you
buy something through them they give you a cashback.
Rpoints, one of
the leading sites lists its memeber benefits as:
- Free to join plus £5 welcome bonus
- Earn up to 30% cashback when you buy online
- Free cash for registering at selected web sites
- Exclusive offers and voucher codes
- Hundreds of bargains posted every week
BUT... you only save money on items that you were going to buy
anyway.
